Branko Arsov
Photographer
Branko Arsov began capturing life's beautiful moments at the age of ten when he got his first camera. A native of Macedonia, Arsov's first camera was a Smena 8. Now a professional photographer based in the Detroit area, Arsov continues to capture life's beautiful moments.
Branko Arsov set-off to be a teacher but found his way back to the art world when he worked at an art gallery managing their catalogs and gicle prints. This experience increased his skills and knowledge of color theory and working with digital mediums. He left the art gallery to work in graphic design for big-market advertisers. Arsov then struck out on his own and began his career as a professional photographer.
Since he began Branko Arsov Photography, Arsov has been published in the Detroit Free Press, Digital Camera Magazine in the U.K., Metro Bride and 6 Degrees. His photos have also been used for numerous advertisements and flyers. In 2007, Arsov's photos were one of three finalists in the Tiffany Awards and in 2008 he was one of the top 100 semi-finalists (out of 50,000 entries) in the Hasselblad Awards.
Most recently, Arsov was named one of the Top 5 wedding photographers as voted on by viewers of WDIV Channel 4, the NBC affiliate in Detroit. Arsov continues to work with clients big and small—photographing weddings, models, family portraits as well as advertisements. With incredible attention to detail in order to ensure exquisite results, Arsov receives praise and thanks from every client he works with. Arsov lives in the Metro Detroit area with his wife and their 3 kids.
